About HarnessQA

Making AI actually improve software quality

Our goal is to help software teams get real quality gains from AI — to make the AI QA tools you've bought, or are weighing, actually work in your repo, your CI, and your review process. Used well, AI catches regressions humans miss and frees reviewers from noise. Used badly, it floods teams with false alarms until they mute it. We exist to make sure it's the first one.

The goal

Help teams use AI to genuinely raise the quality of what they ship — catching the defects that matter and staying quiet on the code that's fine. Quality, not activity. Signal, not noise. AI should remove reviewer fatigue and catch what humans miss, while a person stays in control of every decision that touches the codebase.

Why we exist

The tools are good and getting better. But buying a tool isn't a strategy, and most teams get stuck at the unglamorous part: integration — wiring AI into a real pipeline with the guardrails to keep it safe. The big QA outsourcers only serve enterprises, leaving small and mid-size teams to figure it out alone — and a tool that isn't tuned quickly becomes noise the team mutes within weeks. That gap is what we close.

How we work

Three principles, non-negotiable. Assistive, not autonomous — AI recommends, a human approves; it never merges or modifies code on its own. Precision over recall — catch what matters and stay quiet on correct code, because a noisy reviewer gets ignored. Your environment — it runs in your repo and CI, and your code stays yours. We're vendor-neutral: no stake in any single tool, so we help you pick and run whatever fits your stack.

Who we are

HarnessQA is operated by NEXTGENCODE LLC. We focus on one thing — integrating and running AI QA for 10–50-developer software teams — and we prove it works before you commit: on a blind test against real open-source regressions, and on your own code during a paid pilot. See the proof.
